If the techniques of wine making do not cease evolving, the sine qua nun condition for the creation of a high-class wine remains invariably and immutably related to the quality of the raw material: the grape. Type of vine adequacy – soil, output control, respect of nature, aiming at optimal maturities, Thierry Constantin devotes care and attention to each one of these stages.
Self confessed perfectionist, he never shies away from the hardest tasks, even if the required rigorism would discourage most! He is of these esthetes whose conviction it is that with each stage of the process, from the cultivation to the wine making and maturing giving life to a great bottle, it is above all the wine which commands.
